Interests: I like geeks. All manner of geeks. Geeks are good. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. I also like to read, write, and draw, though I'm not very good at the latter. Oh, and EASY-BAKE Ovens rock my world.
Expertise: I am an expert at interstellar travel. I also find I am good at confusing the hell out of people. A friend once described my style of conversation rather glibly as "Fuzzy pants on a rainbow." So chew on that for a while.

Update on my doings

My goodness, it's been a while. What's been going on with me:

My cousin moved to Virginia : (
I'm dating Billy Barth <3
School's almost over for the semester : )
I haven't seen my clone in over a week : \
Derry's had no power since Friday night  D :
but I think they got it back this morning : D
And I just this instant got an e-mail from my english teacher requesting another copy of my final paper for her files, in case she "needs an example in the future of what a research paper should look like."  /flattered

More later, now I have to run to my Accounting final.

K, Quick update for anyone who cares:

I've been here a month now. In this time I have had 1 test, in math, which I aced; I've battled the bureaucracy twice and won once; I've managed to attract a really great guy, Joe, who is very well suited for me, except that he's 18 (and a vampire, apparently); I met a very nice (and older) fellow, Derek, who is charming and tall and has piercing blue eyes, but who seems incapable of asking for my number and I refuse to do all the work on that one; and, oh yes, Nick, the boy who dumped me on New Year's Eve in my driveway, just texted me wanting to do lunch on Friday. I honestly don't know how I've had the time. And that's just a quick summation of my doings. I'm not even going to get into my room-mates' happenings, nor those of Sam, our unofficial 4th room-mate, who lives a life of constant drama and excitement.

I could go on for paragraphs about each aspect of all that, but I just don't have the energy. I'm a little frazzled.

Toodle Pip.

Moved out

Well...here we are. I'm all unpacked, set up, and good to go. I miss Mum, and Ansel, but otherwise so far so good.

Well, last night was awesome. Went for drinks in Concord with Ange, Sam, Sam's boyfriend Cody, and Sam's friend whose name I unfortunately forget. : (  Ashley??

We also did....KARAOKE! That is to say, I did Karaoke. The place was kind of dead, or the others would have done it, too. Yep. I, Kate Johnson, got up, in front of people, and sang "Kiss you off" by the Scissor Sisters. Yeah. And I wasn't nearly drunk enough. 3 Bacardi Lemons, and not even fuzzy. WEAK! But anyway, Ange says I did a fairly good job. I think it sucked, but then, one always does. Still, I feel that while I can't carry a tune in a bucket, I did alright because I danced a bit. And as we all know, it's 70% how you look, 20% how you sound, and only 10% what you say. So alright. I also didn't throw up, which was nice. Not that I usually do, but the stomach was not happy. Forget butterflies, we're talking a swarm of Mothras. But yes. I can make a fool of myself in public, and my group assured me they'd still love me even if I sucked. It was also nice, because since the place was so boring, we left right after. So that was good. Make an ass of yourself, then flee!

All and all, a great night. We couldn't figure out what to do after we left, so we ended up just sitting on a bench chatting. Sam also found a huge fucking spider. Like, HUGE! And there was this bat flying around the State House, which was cool as well.

Then I went home and went to bed! I was so tired!

"It's not quite a war between Accountants and Actuaries, but it feels like one...."  (What a boring war!!)

"Don't yell at the Cousin! Yelling at the Cousin is like kicking a bunny." (Don't kick the bunny!)

Found those amusing.
